Guest Curator Bio

Jake Kozak is a recent graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design, having earned a Bachelor of Arts in Illustration, with a concentration in Scientific Illustration. He is especially interested in medical illustration, and created this online exhibition as part of a Curatorial Research Internship at the National Museum of Dentistry with the internship supervisor, Patrick Cutter, Assistant Director at the museum. When he is not working on personal projects, he is putting his efforts towards his Master of Fine Art at the Savannah College of Art and Design, or creating fine art works for galleries.

All images used in The Importance of Illustration in Dentistry, unless otherwise stated, are believed to be in the public domain due to their date of creation, no known information about the creator of the work, and no known published works containing use of the image within a time period that would allow for claiming of copyright ownership of the works according to established copyright laws.
