The National Museum of Dentistry will be closed to the public Monday, Dec. 23rd through Friday, Jan. 3rd in accordance with the University of Maryland, Baltimore's holiday break schedule. We will reopen to the public with normal hours of operation on Tuesday, Jan. 7th. We wish everyone a joyous and happy end to the year!

Bricks and Plaques

Do you know a dental professional who is retiring? What about a dental student that just graduated? There are many reasons to honor someone special in your life. Honor them by giving them their own piece of the nation’s official museum of the dental profession.

Choose between two sizes depending on your message:

Option 1: Small Engraved Brick $150

4″ x 8″
Maximum of three lines with 15 characters each
PUNCTUATION and SPACES count as characters

Option 2: Large Engraved Brick $250

8″ x 8″
Maximum of six lines with 15 characters each
PUNCTUATION and SPACES count as characters

Embossed Plaque $500

6″ x 3″

PUNCTUATION and SPACES count as characters

*Brick orders have a 2-4 week processing time before arriving at the museum and plaque orders have a 2-3 week processing time before arriving at the museum. Due to the ordering process, the museum places orders from our brick and plaque suppliers four times a year in January, March, June, and September. Bricks and plaques can be ordered sooner for an additional fee by contacting the museum at 410-706-0600 or emailing Patrick Cutter.
